On Sunday 9th June 2024, Playlovers will hold its Annual General Meeting. You can join in person or online (see below).
It will commence at 11 am in Dalkeith Hall, 99 Waratah Ave, Dalkeith.
All members and those interested in the future of Playlovers are encouraged to attend. It will be an opportunity to get up to date with Playlovers happenings!
For those who are unable to attend in person, we will have an online Zoom connection so you can be part of the meeting from the comfort of your home. [You do not need the Zoom app – you can join from your browser.] If you are interested in joining the meeting this way, please email info@playlovers.org.au and we will email you the link on Friday or Saturday.
The main item on the agenda will be the election of the committee for 2024.
The committee has been revising Playlovers’ constitution, and the AGM will be an opportunity to hear about this.
And there will also be an opportunity to discuss our plans for the future
Everyone on our mailing list is invited to attend and have a say but you must be a financial member in order to vote on items and/or nominate for the committee.

The main item on the agenda for the AGM will be the election of the committee for 2024. Committee positions to be filled:
- President
- Vice-President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Committee members (up to 8)
Members of the committee and ex-officio committee manage the following portfolios:
- Theatre management
- Lighting
- Sound
- Front of House
- Membership management
- Newsletter Editor
- Wardrobe
- Box Office
- Publicity and Marketing
- Adjudication co-ordinator
- Production Liaison
If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for a position on the committee, please complete the Nomination Form. All nomination forms and motions of notice must be received before the start of the AGM.
If you do not want to be on the committee, but would like to assist with any of the above portfolios, you could offer to be an ex-officio member. This means you work in the background without having to attend committee meetings. For example, you might like to help with box office by taking bookings from people. Or you may have a penchant for web design or social media. Talk to any of the committee members if this appeals to you. Or email info@playlovers.org.au
