On a snowy morning, the industrialist Marcel is found stabbed to death in his room.
The house is isolated in a snowstorm, the phone is dead, and the car has been damaged. Trapped in the house with a dead body, each of the eight women in his life is a potential suspect. Every woman has her own motive and secret: his wife, daughters, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, sister, cook, and maid. Long-hidden family secrets are revealed as they try to determine who is the guilty party.
This is the WA premiere of an international award-winning play by French writer, Robert Thomas, with translation by Celine Oudin. Winner of the Hachette Prix du Quai des Orfevres for Best Play, Robert Thomas’ play 8 Femmes (8 Women) is one of the most popular plays in his native France.
