'Noises Off' follows the onstage and offstage antics of a British second-rate theatre company as they stumble from dress rehearsal to disastrous final night of a third-rate comedy called Nothing On.
Each of the three acts of Noises Off contains a performance of the first act of Nothing On.
Act One is set during the dress rehearsal, the night before opening with the cast still fumbling with entrances and exits, missed cues, etc.
