Season of One Act Plays 2006

blank blank	This season of four one-act plays will run over one weekend: September 8, 9 & 10 @ 7pm
	------Two youth plays co-directed by Sue McLennan and Gillian Binks:
		CAST: Maddy Osborn, Megan Sutherland, Jack Murray, Jackson Heinz, Emily Allen-Rose, Sophie Fielding, Ashleigh Blechynden, Natasha Nikitenko, Carrie McMahon, Candice Van Haltren CAST: Rebecca Beasley, Alessia Evangelista, Claire Lovering, Vianka Xu, Samantha Youd	"Uncool" by Vin Morreale, Jr. Jenny is part of the popular crowd that rules the school, while Beth is the new girl trying desperately to fit in. Together, they must come to terms with what it means to be cool, what is uncool, and why it is so important to simply be yourself. "Dreamjobs" by Graham Jones Waiting for interviews with a Youth Employment Service, five teenage girls dream of the romantic, exciting jobs (fashion model, air hostess, nurse, etc) they would like to do, derived from sentimental television series and films. In each case, there is a rude awakening.
	Two adult plays:
	CAST: Gillian Binks, Marie Corrigan, Amanda Crewes, Jason Crewes, Matthew Davies, Kenny Jordan, Sarah Reuben "The Story of You" by Amanda Crewes Directed by Jodi Cant The loneliness.... it is what makes us human, a commonality we all share, and yet can never share. The loneliness of the human condition.
	CAST: Zarah Barrow, Janelle Hammond, Penny Searle, Leon Ousby "Fumed Oak" by Noel Coward Directed by Leon Ousby Henry Gow, a seemingly quiet working-class husband, has apparently accepted his unattractive family, until one evening when he returns with new courage and announces his plan for escape.
